This is Day 70 of the Positive 100, a countdown to Rare Disease Day 2014 and an exercise in being positive despite it all.
When someone has a successful career, we say it was storied. Full of promise, full of action. All our lives are storied. It doesn’t matter how big or small you live. If you live wide or you live deep. We all have stories. We all live stories. We are all stories.
The quote in the image is from Doctor Who, but it is very true, and so very important to remember.
“We are all stories in the end, so make it a good one, eh?”
Of all the stories we have to tell, how many are good ones? How many are worth a listen?
I want to tell a story that matters, I spend days thinking about how I can make it so, but then I step back and realize that the story I am living does matter. And that if I am happy, or taking steps to try to be happy, then I am writing a good one.
One that people will want to hear, and one that I am happy to share.
