This is Day 89 of the Positive 100, a countdown to Rare Disease Day 2014 and an exercise in being positive despite it all.
Everything is impossible until someone does it. And so many more things seem impossible that really aren’t. No matter how difficult the challenge, no matter how tangled the string, nothing is impossible.
I wasn’t supposed to walk after that car accident. Working full time with CRPS is supposed to be impossible. I’ve done both of those.
When I had uncontrollable chronic migraines in college, I was sure graduating was going to be impossible. When I gave up on being a fashion designer, I was positive that having a creative career was impossible. I graduated with honors. I work as a web designer.
Life has been a complicated, tangled web. Challenging. Puzzling. Difficult. But never actually impossible.
