Today is all about a smile.
There has been scientific research done about smiles. If you smile when you talk, you sound happier to someone on the phone. If you force yourself to smile when you are having a bad day, you can improve your mood.

For me, nothing has helped me find my hope and the good in my days more than just finding it within myself to smile. Through all of the tests, the failed treatments and minor victories, finding something to smile about was not always easy, but it was always worth it.
So, today, as I start this 100 day count down to Rare Disease Day on February 28, 2013, I want to thank everyone who is along for the ride. Now go, share your smile!
